    • You love all forms of content with a curiosity about both stills photography and video, including social first content.
    • This is a new entry level role supporting the Editorial Assignment editors and Paid assignment team for a very busy department. If you are looking for something a little different, creatively rewarding and with a company who has a proven track record for success, you have found the right role.

Your Next Challenge

    • Assist the Assignments teams in the administration elements of coordinating the coverage of entertainment events.
    • Support the Assignment teams with the logistical arrangements, including booking travel, of deploying photographers/videographers to locations and events for paid assignments.
    • Support Assignments teams with the onboarding of new freelance team members.
    • Build relationships with a roster of photographers, videographers and editors and capture and share feedback on production, quality of work and workflows.
    • Liaise with sales to highlight and push content using our systems and software.
    • Build vital templates and client links using internal systems.
    • Keep track of assignment work, revenues and profit margins and liaise with the Customer Service team to ensure sales processes are followed.
    • Update and maintain content to various platforms and upload to internal servers for delivery to clients.
    • Research of music tracks, still images and footage for client projects.
    • Highlight content to internal social media teams.
    • General administration support for Assignment teams where required.

What You'll Need

    • French, German, Italian or Spanish language advantageous but not required.
    • Strong organisational skills.
    • Excellent communication and social skills.
    • Willing to work anti-social hours with possible travel.
    • A keen understanding and curiosity about media, journalism and the world of entertainment.
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and sometimes hectic environment.
    • Ability to keep calm under pressure, with a can-do, tenacious attitude.
    • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook is crucial.
    • Some experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere is advantageous.

Mental and Physical Demand

    • Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
    • Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; Time of each will vary.
    • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
    • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment.
