Who You Are:

    • A proactive and driven team player. Through data analysis, strategic thinking, and operations, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales Asia Pacific (APAC) team. You are a self-starter who is equally good at collaborating with various cross-functional strategic partners across the business and within our team, to deliver outputs that are relied upon by the Sales management team. You are equally comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively as the situation requires. You can optimally handle expected and unexpected deadlines, possess a strong level of intellectual curiosity and are adept at manipulating data sets to generate actionable insights and results.

Your Next Challenge:

    • This role will report to the Head of Sales Analytics and Insight. You will be a key contributor as part of the Sales APAC team and responsible for the day-to-day reporting of this function. As part of your work, you will also collaborate closely with other business data professionals. Each day will bring a new challenge and opportunity for growth. However, some of your recurring day-to-day responsibilities would include:
    • Subscription renewal rate reports tracking and management.
    • Adapting reports to revenue tracking requirements (deal value / booked/recognised).
    • Monthly outlook forecasting for the Sales APAC team.
    • Build and maintain dashboards, reports and other data-driven outputs to translate findings to nontechnical stakeholders
    • SG&A budget tracking and management, inc T&E.
    • Sales representative and manager commission pay-cycle delivery.
    • Leverage data and your understanding of the business to improve operational efficiency and identify new growth opportunities. Routinely support strategic planning initiatives and identifying associated data needs.
    • Strategically partnering with Data Science, Business Intelligence, Finance & Sales Operations to improve gaps in reporting.
    • Work with cross-functional teams on special projects and new product initiatives

What You'll Need:

    • A BS or MS in computer science, statistics, economics/econometrics, mathematics or any other equivalent quantitative project is preferred. If you are self-taught and believe you are a good fit for this role or have significant work experience, we would love to hear from you as well.
    • Proven track record as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, preferably within a B2B environment.
    • Hands-on experience working with SQL, especially Hive or Snowflake & expert knowledge in Excel.
    • We are looking for people that strive to optimise workflows and automate repetitive processes, so knowledge of Python and/or R is a big plus.
    • English and Japanese language preferred.
    • Knowledge of statistical testing, data visualisation best practices, data mining, and a good understanding of database design and management. Knowledge of BI and CRM tools such as Tableau, Looker, Salesforce is also a plus.
    • Strong communication skills (both written and orally) and an ability to comfortably produce written reports and present findings.
    • Proven track record to make decisions and take ownership, while balancing this with input from key partners of the business.
    • Strong financial modelling skills and discernment, with the ability to drive projects from start to finish. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working in detail and with granularity, but who can step back and think higher level.
    • Preferred experience within a subscription business and/or B2B environment.

    • Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
    • Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; Time of each will vary.
    • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
    • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment.
