About the Role
We’re hiring a Jr. Engagement Specialist to support Wing’s VA engagement and retention initiatives by planning, organizing, and executing activities that build community and loyalty among virtual assistants.This role involves event planning, supplier negotiation, venue sourcing, and budget coordination, ensuring engagement activities are meaningful, cost-effective, and aligned with Wing’s culture and retention goals.
₱25,000 - ₱35,000 a month
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute VA engagement activities throughout the year (virtual and in-person).
- Handle supplier and vendor negotiations, including venue sourcing, catering, logistics, and event materials.
- Prepare budget proposals and cost breakdowns for approval by People Ops leadership.
- Coordinate event timelines, resource requirements, and post-event documentation.
- Collaborate with People Ops and Operations to align engagement events with retention, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain an annual engagement calendar, ensuring balanced distribution of activities across months and teams.
- Gather and analyze VA feedback and participation data to measure engagement impact and improve future programs.
- Support communications related to internal events, contests, and engagement announcements (via email, Slack, or social channels).
- Assist in onboarding-related morale or community events to strengthen VA belonging and connection.
- Ensure all engagement activities stay within approved budgets and reflect company values.
Qualifications
- At least 1–2 years of experience in events coordination, employee engagement, or administrative support.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, particularly in dealing with suppliers and venues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, or project management tools for budgeting and event tracking.
- Creative and proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing both virtual and on-ground engagement events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in People Operations, HR, or internal communications.
- Background in vendor management, event marketing, or employee experience programs.
- Familiarity with remote team engagement tools or virtual event platforms.
- Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining cost efficiency and engagement quality.

Work Setup: Hybrid / On-site (for events and supplier coordination)
Compensation: PHP 25,000–35,000/month (based on experience and performance)
