Responsibilities
- Designing and developing complex high-quality backend software solutions for our AI team and Large Language models (LLMs)
- Scaling infrastructure with Kubernetes, VPC deployments, load balancers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements
- Ensuring robustness and scalability by leading best practices for testing, architecture, and code quality
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior and senior team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in backend software development
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with customer-facing product teams
- Experience leading or managing technical teams
- Working knowledge of Python and Typescript
- Strong proficiency in languages and frameworks such as Javascript, Typescript, Python, ExpressJS, NodeJS, MongoDB/NoSQL, and Rust
- Extensive experience with micro-service backend frameworks and technologies, as well as server-less architectures
- Extensive experience with database systems and query optimization
- Experience working with LLMs and supporting LLM architectures at scale
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Startup experience and a scrappy/flexible mindset
