Zuma is seeking a visionary Founding Product Designer to establish the foundation of our design culture and create the frameworks that will guide UI/UX at our company. Zuma is re-imagining how human operations teams work alongside digital AI co-workers and you’ll spearhead the creation of a new type of platform that enables human+AI collaboration. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence the product's user experience from the ground up, setting design standards that align with our vision.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the design framework that will be the cornerstone of all Zuma product interfaces and experiences.
- Lead the design process from concept through to execution, crafting wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features.
- Work closely with product management and engineering teams to align product strategy and design philosophy.
- Conduct and apply user research and usability studies to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across the company.
- Lead and scale the design team as the company grows, playing a crucial role in hiring and mentoring new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates expertise in crafting tech product interfaces.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and other prototyping tools.
- Proven ability to design across various platforms including web, mobile, and tablet.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative skills to work effectively in a dynamic startup environment.
Nice to Haves
- Prior experience with AI-driven products or in the real estate tech sector.
- A track record of establishing design frameworks and building design teams from the ground up.
