Head, Sales Agency (Lagos, Port Harcourt) - Salary Range (N6m to N8m per annum + performance bonus up to 30% of gross salary)
Ensure - Nigeria
· To drive retail sales business in Agency
- Develop an overall plan for retail sales development in Agency and other channels in the Lagos region
- Lead the retail sales force in Lagos made up of Retail Sales Executives
- Lead the retail sales force to:
- Sell retail insurance products to customers
- Up-sell and manage existing customers
- Manage own unit as a profitable business with focus on sales and persistence of generated business.
- Carry out relevant lead generation activities to bolster business.
- Maximize sales productivity for unit and build healthy distribution through direct support for closing business.
- Carry out goal setting exercise to achieve the targeted income bracket.
- Ensures the following:
- 1) High standards of discipline
- 2) Management of the sales process
- 3) High degree of engagement in the unit
- Develop and takes ownership of the retail sales budget within the Lagos region.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills required
- Minimum of 8 years cognitive work experience
- Prior experience in Insurance Sales Agency
- Adequate knowledge of the insurance industry and the regulatory frameworks
- Adequate knowledge of insurance products - life and non-life
- Demonstration of strong analytical and problem solving skill
- Excellent communication, presentation and selling skills
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Ability to manage a wide range of tasks simultaneously
- Must be proactive, flexible and result oriented
- Ability to adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
- Must be professional and customer-centric
- Good knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree
- Up to 30% of Gross Salary
