Job Summary 
The Development team works to help GHC maintain relationships with our partners and grow to expand our network. The Development Coordinator supports the Development team by identifying and researching new leads for potential partners. This work is done with the goal of growing GHC’s network to support the powerful work being done, and allow for expansions in our already robust programing. Reporting to the Development Senior Manager, this position provides operational support to the Development team and assists with event planning, board management, and stakeholder stewardship. Additionally, the Development Coordinator provides administrative support to the CEO, empowering them to do their job in a smooth and streamlined manner.

What you’ll do

    • Support CEO in the management of a portfolio of donors and prospects, keeping track of outreach and meeting cadence
    • Conduct prospect research and present findings to the Development Team
    • Support the CEO by scheduling meetings, processing expenses, and planning travel
    • Manage quarterly Board meeting preparation, managing presentation and e-packet process
    • Support the Development Sr. Manager with event planning such as guest lists, sending invites, and tracking participants
    • Create briefings for upcoming CEO meetings
    • Draft outreach materials for Development Team to send to external stakeholders
    • Provide administrative support by logging communications in Salesforce, taking meeting notes, and tracking tasks in Asana

You bring experience collaborating with executive leadership, including travel, conference, and meeting management as well as donor stewardship and cultivation efforts. You know how to build strong relationships with teammates and external stakeholders. 
    • A detail-oriented professional. You have ~3-4 years of scheduling/executive assistant, fundraising, and/or other relevant experience managing projects with moving pieces that require keen attention to detail. You have some experience using systems for tracking and knowledge management such as Salesforce and Asana.
    • A problem solver who owns your work. You overcome obstacles in your work by identifying them, adapting to new information, and devising solutions. You take action before being asked and hold yourself accountable when you set goals. 
    • A proactive, resourceful, and collaborative team member. You have a “get it done” attitude, with the ability to stay focused and nimble in a dynamic environment. You work effectively across teams, time zones, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $65,000 / year

Work Environment & Benefits
This is a remote role (US-only) with a strong preference for residence in the Eastern time zone. This position may require domestic travel (1-2x/year) and international travel on occasion.
