Our client is a leading manufacturer of beauty products based in Chicago. We're seeking a Controller to oversee financial management, reporting to the Director of Finance and Accounting.
Responsibilites
- Manage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Implement internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis.
- Coordinate budgeting and planning processes.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting and finance, implementing relevant updates and enhancements as needed.
- Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of finance/accounting experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Industry experience in manufacturing or consumer goods is preferred.
- Strong technical skills in GAAP, financial analysis, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
$120,000 - $150,000 a year
