We have partnered with a fast growing health care company based in Brentwood, CA. The team is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Practitioner – Level 1 to join the payroll team. This role is ideal for individuals with 1-2 years of payroll experience who are eager to expand their knowledge and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for 500+ employees accurately and on time.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
- Address employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
- Support payroll tax filings and deductions.
- Participate in payroll system training and development.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of payroll processing experience.
- Experience handling payroll for 500+ employees.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus.
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
