We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for one of our top clients. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting initiatives within the organization. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this individual will provide strategic insights, conduct thorough financial analysis, and contribute to key decision-making processes across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to support the company's financial objectives.

Requirments

    • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate financial projections.
    • Analyze financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods, identifying variances and providing recommendations for improvement.
    • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
    • Management Reporting:
    • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
    • Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial results, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, contributing to strategic discussions and decision-making.
    • Business Partnering:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers, challenges, and opportunities, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop pricing strategies, assess profitability, and evaluate investment opportunities.
    • Financial Analysis and Performance Metrics:
    • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives, investment opportunities, and risk assessments.
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance, providing actionable insights to drive efficiency and profitability.
    • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve efficiency.
    • Implement best practices and standardize financial reporting processes to ensure consistency and reliability of financial information.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting roles, preferably within [insert industry].
    • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and variance analysis.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
    • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
