We have partnered with a prominent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Greater Atlanta community. The team is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to add to their accounting and finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Data clean up – making sure info came across accurately
- Reconciling journal entries booked to old system and missed in new system
- Month end close activities
- Recurring entries clean up
- Supporting government audit, supporting orgs audit and regular audit
- Handle complex bank reconciliations
- Collaboration with other team members
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the nonprofit sector
- Must be skilled in complex bank reconciliations
- Must have Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
