A privately held investment firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations across multiple entities
    • Prepare and review brokerage statement reconciliations and light trust accounting
    • Support preparation of financial reports and quarterly/annual tax compliance
    • Process accounts payable, distributions, and assist with budgeting/variance analysis
    • Maintain organized records and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
    • 5–8+ years of accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge
    • Experience with brokerage statement reconciliations and general ledger accounting
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to safeguard confidential information
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
    • Background in financial services, investments or related industries preferred
