Our team provides qualified Accounting and Finance professionals on a temporary and permanent basis across a broad range of industries. GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.
We have partnered with a leading Private Equity Firm specializing in the Food and Agriculture sector. The team is seeking an experienced Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join and play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of the existing books & records to ensure they are in order.
- Build out financial reporting package for management and the board – including: cash management, consolidation/roll up all of the individual BU’s into the PE holding company financials ($400M-$500M);
- Majority of the investments are offshore – Chile, Peru, Mexico,
- Oversee 3rd party CPA firm audit.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Review financials against the forecast.
- Handle foreign currencies & foreign exchange.
- Assess what the finance function should look and what capabilities the team may need.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, preferably within the Private Equity industry.
- Strong understanding of private equity investment principles and practices.
- Domestic and International is required
$200,000 - $250,000 a year
