Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced full-charge bookkeeper. As a full-charge bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilites

    • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation.
    • Handle accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and posting payments.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing all financial transactions.
    • Payroll Processing:
    • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, including employee time tracking, calculation of wages, and payroll tax deductions.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
    • Maintain employee records and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
    • General Ledger Maintenance:
    • Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions and ensuring proper classification and coding.
    • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
    • Prepare adjusting journal entries and month-end closing procedures.
    • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making purposes.
    • Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.

Qualifications

    • Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
$80,000 - $90,000 a year
