Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing startup specializing in the manufacturing of high-quality amenities luxury hotels. Their innovative products and commitment to excellence have positioned them as a trusted partner for premier hospitality brands. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager/Controller to join our team and drive financial operations to new heights.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and maintain accounting software and other financial management tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in a CPG/inventory environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills.
$125,000 - $150,000 a year
