Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in managing the company's financial obligations by accurately processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors. Responsibilties

    • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and process invoices accurately and efficiently.
    • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices, and ensure timely payments.
    • Expense Reporting: Reconcile expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
    • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and adjustments.
    • Reporting: Generate reports as needed for management review, including aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor analysis.
    • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline accounts payable processes.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including purchasing, finance, and procurement, to ensure seamless coordination of accounts payable activities.

Qualifications

    • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
