We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who loves working with data and can adapt quickly to new data technologies and tools. You will be working with a team of sustainability experts. You will be calculating impact valuations from ESG data for companies across industries/ geographies and writing insights on critical data points affecting the impact valuation.

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) reporting services

- Derive impact valuation via data collection, cleansing, processing, analysis and interpretation

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (research, sales, product, IT, etc.) to achieve strategic business objectives related to product development and adoption

- Strong interest and knowledge of ESG metrics and stakeholder / social impact assessments

- Ability to understand detailed ESG roadmap and implementation strategies around the world

- Demonstrate domain awareness in climate change, sustainable policy, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), etc.

- A quick learner who can pick up on GIST’s impact valuation approach and technology platforms to deliver upon the data analytics process

- Excellent command of both spoken and written English

- Proficient in understanding sustainability reports, articles, and business insights and providing insights on them

- Proficient in Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Demonstrated ability to design logic structures for complex problems

- Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative

- 0-3 years of work experience in ESG / sustainability consulting, preferably

- Post-graduate in economics, engineering, environmental science, or related fields

- Professional sustainability certifications (SCR, LCACP, FSA, etc.) preferred

- Certification in international reporting frameworks (GRI, <IR>, CDP, SASB, etc.) preferred

- Familiar with programming languages such as Python, R and SQL and application of logic is preferred
