We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) in the Afton, TX area to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ home in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity.  Patients' needs include up to 20 hours/week, split into 3 visits.



Responsibilities

    • Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care
    • Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information
    • Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
    • Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake
    • Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees
    • Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies
    • Completes yearly education hours

Minimum Qualifications

    • Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate unless an HHA
    • 1+ years' experience in direct client care, or has provided home health services within previous 24 months
    • Current CPR certification
    • willing to get TB testing
    • Dependable transportation
$12 - $18 an hour
