We’re looking for a Business Analyst Intern to join our Regional Business Operations team under the Cross-Border Recruitment Service Business (visit https://talenthub.glints.com/ for more!), to help grow our team across Asia.
The mission of this role is to solve strategic and operational problems that arise in our scaling phase and assist in driving new projects through conducting rapid data analysis and supporting new initiative launches. You will be a key part of optimizing our largest business units and improving their productivity and efficiency. You will report directly to our Senior Data Analyst Associate (Business Operations) in Singapore.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Business Operations Improvements: Support Business Operations improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity, examples of improvement initiatives include Demand Qualification, Customer Success, Automated Job Allocation; You will also be conducting internal stakeholders’ discovery calls to understand their requirements and challenges, support the formulation of BizOps strategies, and support the rollout and adoption of Business Systems. Examples of Business Systems include HubSpot, LinkedIn, Google Data Studio, etc.
- Business Analysis: Analyze past data and develop models for key indicators and metrics, examples of key indicators include Client Lifetime Value, Customer Acquisition Cost, Efficiency-related metrics, Revenue Retention, Customer Concentration, and Business Input Metrics. You will also be testing Business Hypotheses, and conducting gap analyses to validate these hypotheses and provide business insights
- Business Metrics Instrumentation, reporting, and monitoring: Examples; Latency, Time to fill, Funnel Conversion Rates
- Other High-Priority Projects
Who We Are Looking For
- Available for full-time or part-time Fall Internship: August - December 2024 for at least 3 months
- Strong Problem-solving skills; able to break down problems, draw insights from complex data and recommend practical solutions
- Strong Data Analytical skills; Proficient in SQL, familiarity with dashboarding tools like Tableau, Metabase, Powe BI, or Looker Studio. Scripting languages such as Python are highly desirable
- Experience or knowledge in Data Engineering will be a huge plus
- Collaborative; Able to work with different Business Units and team members across geographies/cultures
- Zero-defect mindset; Ensure no formula/Excel/PPT formatting errors
- Strong ability in navigating ambiguity, and thrives in a fluid and unstructured environment
- Comfortable to work independently to execute initiatives
- Strong work ethic with get-it-done growth mindset
- Proactive with proposing solutions and flagging issues
- Excited about building and optimizing business units
- Non-Singaporeans or PRs are welcomed to apply
