We’re looking for a Special Projects Intern to join our CEO Office team, to help grow our team across Asia.

The mission of this role is to solve strategic problems that arise in our scaling phase and assist in driving new projects through conducting rapid data analysis with fast turnarounds. You will be a key part of building new business units and scaling them from zero to one. You will report directly to our Special Projects Senior Associate or Lead.

What You’ll Be Doing

    • Corporate Strategy: Refining our strategic ambition, where to play, and how to win perspectives by running external and internal analysis; Identify and prioritize key value creation levers for the company and our clients (eg. customer retention); Corporate strategy projects include but are not limited to market expansion, GTM strategy, market sizing, org structure review etc.
    • Corporate Finance: Support day-to-day execution of M&A projects including but not limited to financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, structuring, documentation, and process management; Perform detailed sector scans on the human resource landscape to identify potential acquisition targets that will maximize ROI and realize synergies for Glints Perform financial and valuation analyses using various methodologies, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis and discounted cash flow DCF analysis.
    • Fundraising and Financial Modeling: Examples of models and charts include financial models for business valuation, unit economics, whale charts, rule of 40 charts, and cricket charts.
    • Other high-priority projects: Support other functional teams (cross border commercial, growth, product, tech & engineering) in driving important analysis to make business decisions or solve strategic problems; Analyze past data and develop simple models for key indicators and metrics; Examples of key indicators include: Client Lifetime Value, Customer Acquisition Cost, Efficiency-related metrics, Revenue Retention, Customer Concentration

Who We Are Looking For

    • Past internship experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, Private Equity, CEO Office, or Business Analysis is highly preferable
    • Excited about building and scaling new business units
    • Proactive with proposing solutions and flagging issues
    • Strong work ethic with get-it-done growth mindset
    • Collaborative: Able to work with different BUs and team members across geographies and cultures
    • Zero-defect mindset: Ensure no formula/Excel/PowerPoint formatting errors
    • Comfortable working with and manipulating data
    • Immediate joiner is preferable
    • Open to travel
