Specialising in the data centre industry, we offer commissioning management and validation services to project developers and operators, ensuring they receive a fully operational and design-compliant building at handover.

We are a growing company and currently operate in multiple countries across Europe and South Africa, and have active offices in Germany, Poland, and Italy.

Overview
The post holder is responsible for the safe, timely and efficient design, installation and commissioning of MEP systems and IT infrastructure within the built environment.

The post holder will be required to manage services both on and off-site, coordinating with Commissioning Managers, Engineers and various sub-contractors as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Manage and operate Global Commissioning SSOW – Global permits including the issuing of PTW for all activities on site.
    • Prepare/check switching schedules for all switching activities.
    • Ensure compliancy with electrical safety rules by all parties.
    • Carry out final inspections or ‘white glove’ inspections of all equipment prior to energisation in conjunction with the contractors.
    • Attend commissioning meetings.
    • Co-ordinate with Commissioning Agent regarding upcoming Commissioning requirements and highlight any potential issues.
    • Operate and manage LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedure on site.
    • Contribute to proactive management, good coordination, and communication between all parties and that the process works effectively.
    • Ensure health and safety policy is adhered to at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

    • Completion of trade apprenticeship or relevant electrical qualifications – Essential
    • A minimum of five years’ experience across in a HV SAP role or similar – Essential
    • CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder – Essential
    • BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent – Desirable 
    • Experience working within Data Centres – Desirable
    • Completion of HV SAP training - Essential
    • Fully comprehensive across all Microsoft Office applications – Essential
