You will be working with key stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend solutions to optimize our data processes. You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, recommending effective and optimal solutions to meet the business needs, documenting proposed solutions, and performing quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy

How will you drive value within the organization as a Business Systems Analyst II?

    • Research, evaluate and analyze current business problems and identify requirements
    • Establish and maintain liaison relationship with business partners and IT teams to provide effective technical solutions
    • Effectively communicate insights, findings, project status and updates with cross-functional team members and management
    • Lead and provide the direction of project planning and execution to ensure quality, accuracy, and on time delivery
    • Collaborate with business analysts, and information technologists (developers, engineers, administrators, etc.) to design, build, customize and implement reports and business intelligence dashboards using SQL Server and Power BI
    • Serve as the key interface between senior leadership, business users, and the development and infrastructure teams
    • Work closely with external vendors to facilitate file exchange automation and enhancements

What should you already know to be successful as a Business Systems Analyst II?

    • Minimum of bachelor’s degree required
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience with knowledge of technical scripting or data query languages and reporting tools
    • Intrinsically self-motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness 
    • Experience with vendor negotiation and management including writing or modifying effective and protective SOWs a plus
    • Experience developing and implementing technology solutions a plus
    • Experience with concepts of modern data encryption standards and secure data exchange processes a plus
    • Working knowledge of change control standards and audit principals for software development or data projects a plus
    • Experience with implementing IT technical solutions and process improvements in a Financial Services organization a plus

Employment Requirements:

    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check 
    • Must be able to work at a desk/in a seated position up to 100% of the workday
    • Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment 
    • Must be able to talk and hear to exchange accurate information
    • Must have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
    • This position is full-time
    • This position does not require travel
