People & Culture – People & Culture Specialist

GO1 is looking for someone in Salt Lake City to join our US People & Culture team! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, creative, and an excellent multi-tasker, to take on the areas of sourcing/recruiting coordinating, and HR admin responsibilities. If you’re someone who loves the startup environment, and is ready to take on many hats, this is the opportunity for you!

This role allows you to utilize your expertise in three areas:
70% of talent acquisition (recruiting coordinator + sourcing)
30% of human resource administration

Talent Acquisition
Assist in the ownership of GO1's recruiting process, making sure we attract, recruit, onboard and retain the highest quality people to enable GO1 to achieve our Mission, Vision, and other strategic drivers.

Assist the Head of People and Culture in building a world-class company culture that attracts top talent, makes employees happy, and enables our organization to achieve our Mission, Vision, and other strategic drivers.

Recruiting

    • Start off with sourcing and recruiting coordinator  our US P&C Lead 
    • You will ramp up to become a recruiter by month 2
    • Perform all recruitment activities for GO1 across the US, for positions in all departments (sales, customer service, engineering/development, etc.).
    • Researching and advising on position according to different locations;
    • Proactively identifying potential talents on the internet (that are  not looking for jobs), and engaging them with the opportunity to apply for our positions
    • Assessing and filtering candidates for all GO1 positions;
    • Applying a variety of job assessment tests;
    • Scheduling interviews with candidates and internal stakeholders
    • Managing all communication with candidates
    • Preparing and sending work contracts based on existing templates
    • Handling the recruitment life cycle for each position and candidate
    • Advising internal stakeholders on all recruitment matters
    • Ensuring we attract, recruit, onboard and retain the highest quality people to enable GO1 to achieve our Mission, Vision, and other strategic drivers.
    • Assist our US P&C Lead in building a world-class company culture that attracts top talent, makes employees happy, and enables our organization to achieve our Mission, Vision, and other strategic drivers.

HR Admin

    • Perform onboarding and offboarding activities for GO1, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities worldwide
    • Assist our P&C Lead in developing and implementing initiatives and activities that will boost the desired values and culture in the organization
    • Assist the P&C Lead with any HR related activity

Success Criteria

    • You effectively recruit people with exceptional skills as well as strong culture-fit, in a timely manner and aligned to the company needs and budget
    • You actively help improve the company culture and employee happiness and admiration for the company
    • You frequently suggest and help implement improvements for HR / People and Culture processes

HR Admin

    • Perform onboarding and offboarding activities for GO1, and assist with onboarding and offboarding activities worldwide
    • Assist our P&C Lead in developing and implementing initiatives and activities that will boost the desired values and culture in the organization
    • Assist the P&C Lead with any HR related activity

Preferred Requirements

    • Prior experience with sourcing; Boolean string extraordinaire 
    • Experience sourcing at high-volumes
    • Adaptability & easy to work with (flexibility in fast-paced, volatile environments)
    • Prior experience using Lever
    • Ability to collaborate with anyone - you will be working with hiring managers from all departments, and even our teammates overseas.
    • Excellent communication skills (listening, explanatory, negotiation)
    • Excellent interviewing skills (unbiased behavioural and situational interviewing)
    • Excellent skills in observation and understanding people's values, attitudes and behaviour
    • Technically savvy
    • Demonstrated thirst for continuous learning and self-development
    • Positive mindset and attitude
    • Ability to work under pressure and work in a fast-changing, startup environment
    • No regular travel is required but travel might be necessary occasionally
    • Completed bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Marketing or any field that covers understanding human behaviour.
