GO2 Markets is looking for a passionate and driven Sales Manager in Energy and Climate Solutions to join our growing team in Berlin. In this role, you’ll help companies across industries navigate the fast-evolving landscape of environmental commodities including renewable energy certificates (RECs, GOs, I-RECs), carbon credits, renewable gas, and more. 

This is more than a sales role; it’s about shaping real climate strategies. You’ll build relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, understand their decarbonization goals, and deliver tailored solutions that drive impact.

Your responsibilities at G02 Markets

    • Your mission is to drive growth by identifying and engaging prospective clients, prioritizing high-impact accounts, and expanding GO2 Markets’ footprint across key regions 
    • You will consult corporates on their climate strategies, navigating the complexity of environmental markets to align our products and services and close impactful deals 
    • You will manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation and pitching to negotiation and closing—while consistently meeting monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and closed business 
    • You will build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication, insights, and tailored advisory support 
    • You will work closely with trading, product, and strategy teams to deliver seamless, innovative solutions for clients 
    • You will stay ahead of the curve by continuously tracking market trends, sustainability regulations, and competitor activity 

Your Profile

    • You have 2-4 years of experience in trading, B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles, ideally within the sustainability, energy, or commodities sectors 
    • You possess exceptional communication skills in English 
    • You bring a strong commercial mindset and are skilled at aligning technical solutions with client needs. 
    • You are passionate about climate action and have a solid understanding of corporate sustainability trends such as Scope 1–3 emissions, net zero targets, and ESG frameworks 
    • You have a self-starter mentality—proactive, curious, and resilient in the face of challenges
