Brightside is looking for a seasoned Marketing Cloud Administrator to manage our marketing automation platform and its various tools such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Social Studio, to facilitate personalized customer experiences and drive marketing success.

The meaningful work you will tackle:

    • System Configuration and Administration: Managing user accounts, permissions, and roles, setting up data extensions, creating automation workflows, working with dynamic code/templates, creating trackable UTM tags and short links, and customizing the platform’s settings to align with business requirements.
    • Data Management and Segmentation: You will be responsible for managing and organizing the data within the Marketing Cloud. Importing and cleansing data, segmenting audiences based on specific criteria, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant privacy regulations.
    • Campaign Development and Execution: Creating email templates, making decision changes and edits,  working with personalization strings, designing personalized journeys, setting up triggered and automated campaigns, email versioning, organizing and maintaining the content library, data extensions and emails by campaign, testing,  and optimizing campaign performance through A/B testing and analysis.
    • Integration and Automation: Deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms. This includes integrating the Marketing Cloud with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, data visualization tools like Tableau, data warehouses, and external APIs to enable seamless data flow and automate processes for enhanced marketing efficiency. 
    • Troubleshooting and Support: Investigating and resolving data discrepancies, monitoring system performance, and coordinating with Salesforce support teams if necessary.
    • Training and Documentation: Creating training materials, conducting workshops or webinars, and documenting best practices and guidelines to ensure users can leverage the platform effectively and efficiently.
    • Monitoring and Reporting: Responsible for monitoring campaign performance and generating reports. This involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing campaign metrics, identifying trends and opportunities, and presenting data-driven insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

What we’re looking for in your background & what makes you a success:

    • 5+ years of experience professional as a Marketing Cloud Administrator
    • Solid technical foundation, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, and AMPscript
    • Deep understanding of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and other relevant modules, along with their integration capabilities
    • Experience with integration with Service Cloud
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of marketing tactics and metrics reportingAbility to work cross-functionally with our internal stakeholders
    • Experience with Google and other communication tools (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slack, etc)
    • Project management tool experience such as Asana (preferred but not required)
    • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms and work collaboratively to achieve marketing objectives
