We believe buying enterprise software should be simple, pleasant, and fast instead of complex, painful, and slow (which is how it is today). Buyers now want instant access to presales (sales engineering) resources throughout the buying experience but they find it harder and harder to get what they need. Using Consensus, a sales engineering team builds a library of reusable interactive video demos that Sales sends out on-demand. Consensus automatically personalizes the experience and tracks engagement as the prospect shares the demo with other stakeholders in the buying group, bringing the entire buying group to live demos better educated and ready to talk specifics. 

This not only reduces unqualified demos to near zero and can double the presales team’s productivity, it also removes the "demo lag time" for prospects and shortens the sales cycle by as much as 68%.

About the Role:
 
At Consensus, we are building a world-class marketing team to accelerate revenue growth by
4X and deepen a market leadership position in the demo automation space. We’re looking for a
data-driven and creative marketing leader who will take Consensus’ demand generation engine
to the next level. The perfect candidate is a growth-minded leader with a successful track record
accelerating performance at B2B SaaS companies. You will lead a talented team of marketers
to build multi-channel campaigns and creative messaging that resonates with our target
audience while finding innovative approaches to drive step function growth on our current
trajectory. This is a dynamic opportunity at a truly great company with strong product-market fit,

What You'll Do:

    • Lead/hire a team of marketers to build a comprehensive demand generation strategy
    • Manage and continually optimize a seven-figure budget to maximize ROI
    • Align closely with Sales, looking at pipeline health and coming up with strategies (including ABM tactics) to drive conversion along the sales cycle
    • Serve as a player-coach who can run successful campaigns while you also mentor, grow, and expand the team (or agencies) that will help Consensus scale into the future
    • Maximize channel mix to include email, content, paid display, social and search, lifecycle, webinars, etc
    • Partner closely with operations/enablement to ensure alignment on strategy, resources, foundational tools and KPIs are in place

What We're Looking For:

    • BA/BS Preferred
    • 5-8 years of experience in revenue, and/or growth marketing functions
    • 4+ years people management experience
    • Strong analytical skills, both in modeling and measurement (experience with Looker,  Tableau or similar tool a plus)
    • Highly creative with an established track record of running successful campaigns that resonate with the ideal target audience
    • Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated track record successfully leading and developing team members to achieve shared objectives
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present analyses, ideas and results to senior management
    • Proficiency with marketing tools including CRM, intent data, web measurement
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance)
    • Highly resourceful, self-starter - like to have fun (a good sense of humor is a must!)

$200,000 - $220,000 a year
Compensation is anticipated to be between $200,000 - $220,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
