About the Role:
We seek an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong technical and communication skills who has worked extensively on backend and frontend engineering systems. This role involves building systems that process large amounts of data at scale and handle thousands of requests per minute.
You’ll be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling our platform while collaborating with engineers across teams, designers and product managers. As a key contributor, you’ll be expected to work autonomously, guide other developers, and help drive technical decisions that impact the entire system.
Responsibilities:
- Create new reporting features and upscale the existing functionalities to take the product to a new height
- Design scalable backend & frontend architecture
- Drive performance through benchmarking, and optimisation and adhere to security best practices
- Work with a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies to own and solve problems from end to end
- Work cross-functionally across our platform and with different teams
- Collaborate closely with our leadership team including engineers, designers and product managers to build new features and products
- Uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and systems you will encounter
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on scale with proficiency in Node.js, Nest.js/Express.js
- 1.5+ years of experience with Vue.js/React.js or frontend similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch or similar engines) and caching strategies (Redis or similar engines)
- Experience handling high-scale traffic, distributed systems, and concurrency challenges
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Google Pub/Sub etc.) for event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks for frontend and backend (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
- Strong fundamentals, debugging, performance optimisation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills and a product-driven mindset to balance trade-offs efficiently
