About the role:
As a Power Query Specialist at GoMaterials, you’ll get to build and improve the functions that transform supplier inventory data into clean, consistent formats for our platform. You’ll make sure every dataset is accurate and standardized, while also refining existing queries and creating efficient workflows that keep our data reliable. If you enjoy problem-solving, have a sharp eye for detail, and want to put your Power Query expertise to work in a role where your impact is visible every day, this is the opportunity for you.
What you'll do:
- Work with supplier inventory data, using Power Query to organize and reformat it so it fits our platform requirements
- Spot patterns in data and find opportunities to automate repetitive steps for efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that come up during the data transformation process
- Share your Power Query knowledge with the team through training and guidance
- Make sure all data is cleaned, standardized, and validated before moving on to Quality Assurance
What you'll need:
- 2-3 years of proven data analysis work experience
- Advanced Power Query and Excel skills
- Experience with databases, data procedures, and data administration
- Critical thinking and attention to detail
- Sense of ownership and pride in your work
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills
- Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
- Fluency in English
Bonus points if you have:
- A degree in data science, business analytics, supply-chain, or relevant fields
- Experience with HubSpot
