About the role:
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting startup environment, then this is the job for you! As an operations intern, you’ll be processing quotes and orders, as well as setting up our vendor catalogues in our inventory management system. You’ll play a pivotal role in growing our business from day 1 and you’ll be able to continuously share your ideas with us. What’s more? You’ll gain practical experience and may have the opportunity to join our team full-time!
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Support Daily Operations: Work closely with the Head of Operations on day-to-day tasks to keep things running smoothly
- Order Management: Help process quotes and set up customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Inventory Coordination: Set up and maintain vendor catalogues in our inventory management system
- Logistics Support: Contribute to the development of a third-party transportation fleet to support our growing operations
What you’ll bring:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
- Available to work full-time for 8 months (open to a 4-month contract for the right candidate)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- A deep appreciation for company culture and a desire to help build a values-driven team
- Self-starter mindset: you take ownership of your work and hold yourself (and others) accountable
- Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and a knack for identifying what truly moves the needle
