Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of photoshoots, supporting various aspects of the production process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with creative professionals and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Production Support:
Prepare budget worksheets and work with the Director of Creative Production to construct creative decks tailored for both ecommerce operations and campaign planning.
Assist in pre-shoot preparations including organizing equipment, props, and wardrobe.
Coordinate logistics such as scheduling, transportation, and location scouting.
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and talent to confirm arrangements and requirements.
On-Set Assistance:
Be the first one on set for all campaign shoots to greet and situate the crew.
Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are readily available throughout the shoot.
Assist with talent management, including check-ins, wardrobe changes, and ensuring comfort on set.
Provide general assistance to the photographer and production crew, addressing their needs and facilitating communication.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment.
Administrative Tasks:
Handle paperwork, releases, and other administrative duties as needed.
Keep detailed records of production expenses, receipts, and documentation for accounting purposes.
Assist with preparations to onboard crew to payroll.
Post-Production Assistance:
Assist in organizing and transferring files, images, and other media from the photoshoot.
Support the production team in post-processing tasks such as editing, retouching, and file management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role within the photography or production industry is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task completion.
Proficiency in handling equipment and basic understanding of photography and lighting principles is advantageous.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, depending on the demands of the production schedule.
Familiarity with software tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar programs is a plus.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional coursework or training in photography, film, or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.

Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
