The SVP of Global Wholesale will be responsible for developing and executing the wholesale strategy across the U.S. and international markets, ensuring strong relationships with major department stores, luxury retailers, and key accounts. This executive leader will be instrumental in scaling distribution, optimizing profitability, and expanding brand presence across wholesale channels.
 
The ideal candidate is a proven leader in premium denim with deep relationships in the U.S. and global retail landscape, a strategic mindset, and a results-driven approach. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and expertise in market expansion.
 
Reporting directly to the President, the SVP will oversee a team across wholesale sales, planning, and account management to drive best-in-class execution and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Global Wholesale Strategy & Business Development
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive global wholesale strategy to drive revenue, optimize market penetration, and strengthen brand positioning.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with major U.S. and international department stores.
    • Identify and expand into new global markets, ensuring strategic alignment with brand objectives.
    • Develop tailored market strategies for North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, ensuring cultural and business model adaptability.
    • Oversee seasonal wholesale market planning, forecasting, and sales execution, ensuring alignment with brand goals and retail needs.

    • Retailer Relationship Management & Negotiation
    • Serve as the key relationship manager for wholesale partners, ensuring strong collaborations and long-term growth.
    • Negotiate optimal terms, distribution agreements, and pricing structures to enhance profitability.
    • Lead sell-in and sell-through strategies, leveraging data and insights to optimize performance.
    • Develop and oversee exclusive capsule collections, special collaborations, and in-store activations to drive retail excitement.

    • Sales, Operations & Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing global wholesale sales team, providing strategic guidance and performance accountability.
    • Partner with Merchandising, Finance, Planning, and Marketing to ensure cohesive execution of product and promotional strategies.
    • Oversee wholesale financial planning, sales projections, and inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and revenue optimization.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to stay ahead in the premium denim space.

    • Brand & Market Expansion
    • Drive brand elevation in wholesale by ensuring consistency in product presentation, marketing, and customer experience across all retail partners.
    • Partner with Marketing and PR to develop wholesale-specific campaigns, in-store events, and digital activations that drive sell-through.
    • Ensure brand integrity across wholesale touchpoints, maintaining premium positioning and exclusivity.

Qualifications & Experience:

    • 15+ years of experience in global wholesale sales, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role within the premium denim or luxury fashion sector.
    • Deep relationships with major department stores and key accounts in the U.S. and globally.
    • Proven track record in driving wholesale revenue growth and global market expansion.
    • Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen, with experience structuring wholesale agreements and distribution partnerships.
    • Expertise in wholesale operations, forecasting, inventory management, and sales strategy.
    • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results.
    • Passion for denim, fashion innovation, and global retail trends.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or a related field; MBA preferred.

Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
