Summary:
The Manager, Operations & Maintenance will develop and lead revenue generating O&M initiatives related to the completion of customer solar projects. In this role, the Manager will collaborate with Third Party Owners, Field Service Providers, and internal teams to ensure solar projects are completed and commissioned as efficiently as possible. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of all solar installation milestones and be able to effectively communicate progress and results to a wide audience. A large part of this role will also be negotiating quotes/rates with solar dealers and providers. The O&M organization will always keep the customer as the priority. Quick action and excellent communication are paramount to help preserve the customer experience during system downtime and/or required repairs.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a team of Project Specialist’s to ensure project deadlines are met
- Day-to-day pipeline management, problem solving, and oversight of the assigned project
- Build relationships with solar dealers and service providers with the goal to expand GoodLeap’s coverage area
- Prepare and send weekly snapshots that capture overall progress
- Hold weekly meetings with all stakeholders to present progress, collaborate on new ideas, and document feedback
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- 2–4 years of relevant solar experience required
- Ability to effectively communicate to key stakeholders
- Must be able to adapt quickly to learning new systems
- Advanced Excel and CRM (Salesforce) knowledge
- Team player, collaborative, ability to work well with others
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Compensation: $80,000 per year
