The Legal Operations Coordinator will help drive the efficiency and scalability of our in-house legal function. This role is fast-paced and will take ownership of legal processes, tools, and cross-functional initiatives. This role will play a key part in streamlining workflows, optimizing legal technology, supporting budgeting and invoice management, and enabling operational excellence across the legal team. This role will collaborate closely with legal counsel, compliance, finance and business stakeholders across the organization.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Legal Invoice and Spend Management
    • Process legal invoices in accordance with internal policies and billing guidelines.
    • Assist with managing Legal Tracker (or other eBilling platforms), including matter creation, reporting and law firm and vendor onboarding.
    • Prepare and analyze reports on legal spend, accruals, budgets and matter-level cost tracking.
    • Collaborate with Finance to support legal budgeting, accrual tracking and forecasting.
    • Technology and Systems Management 
    • Maintain and optimize legal technology tools, including contract lifecycle management, matter management and eBilling.
    • Monitor various shared inboxes managed by legal operations and respond to internal and external inquiries.
    • Support data entry, permissions and workflow configuration under direction.
    • Help onboard users and provide basic troubleshooting or training.
    • Project and Process Management
    • Support cross-functional and legal and compliance projects, including tracking timelines, deliverables and dependencies.
    • Assist with change management initiatives and efforts related to legal operations tools or policies.
    • Operational and Administrative Support
    • Help create and maintain legal department resources including document repositories, trackers and dashboards.
    • Handle ad hoc requests and contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

    • 2- 4 years of experience in legal operations, corporate legal departments, or related fields.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal tech platforms (e.g., CLM, eBilling, task management tools).
    • Proven ability to take initiative as a self-starter and proactively identify and solve problems.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing as a team player.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation: $30.92 - $47.66/hr
