A Closer is responsible for performing multiple job functions. Typically, based on ranking; I- III, the responsibility could include preparing Closing Disclosures or Loan Documents to Funding a loan or issuing the post-consummate closing disclosure. The Closing team will work together to ensure quality, compliance and department service level agreements are adhered to. It is expected that our team provides exceptional customer service to internal and external partners.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Audit executed closing package, balance with Settlement agent, balance and confirm wire amounts. Follow all Funding Review policy and procedures.
    • Accurately review and complete Post Consummate Closing Disclosure within 20 days from Funding. Responds and Clears PCCD Deficiencies in a timely manner.
    • Maintain individual dashboard views and manage all loans within our SLA's. Accurately prepare initial CD, and accurately send out subsequent CDs as required by TRID guidelines.   
    • Managed CTC dashboard view for Doc Preparation. Adhere to Doc Prep Checklist procedures to ensure accuracy. Balance, up front, with title partners, as required.  
    • Assist with reviewing and providing feedback or training to other closing team members. Following a specific training schedule when needed.  Perform other duties or pilot functions when needed.
    • Provide expertise to the closing team and assist the Closing Management team with department policies, visibility, and overall support. May include reporting, post-closing, audit responses, Funding ATRQM, and etc.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

    • Minimum 3 years mortgage closing experience required.
    • Vast experience of lending in multiple states, ideally, wet states and Texas.
    • Strong understanding of compliance with the emphasis on meeting all TRID requirements.
    • Experience with Encompass 360 preferred.
    • Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills.
$25.96 - $29 an hour

Compensation:  $25.96-$29.00 / hr.
