Job brief
We are looking for a motivated intern to assist in the management of Goodwall’s Changemaker Program, our initiative to identify, spotlight and connect the world’s 10,000 most inspiring and influential young leaders and problem solvers from entrepreneurs to activists and artists, especially those addressing the sustainable development goals (SDGs). The program already supports innovative startup CEOs to FridayforFuture climate activists. 

You will assist in lead generation, outreach, on-boarding and engaging program participants to build a solid community that will inspire the next generation. You  will directly impact SDGs, notably Quality Education (SDG 4) and Employment for All (SDG8), that ensures equal access to quality education, university scholarships and future employment   This internship will help sharpen your project management and relationship building skills, and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will also be exposed to a network of this generation’s most inspiring and impactful individuals. Ultimately, this internship should prepare you to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities
Manage and update the Changemakers database with the status of current leads
Generate and contact new leads via email, LinkedIn or call, and complete Changemakers database with relevant contact information.
Ensure all confirmed participants complete the on-boarding process and submit all requirements
Conduct interviews and guide key participants in the program, and gather insights on how to increase and maintain Changemaker engagement on the Goodwall platform 
Engage with Changemakers on Goodwall by animating group chats, featuring their posts and content on social, and encouraging local meetups 
Gather, analyse data and propose new ideas relevant in improving education curricula to better align with business needs or programs that support youth employment and continuous learning such as internships, work-study programs traineeships or mentorships

Requirements
Strong interest in the SDGs, social impact, entrepreneurship, and/or science & technology
Strong project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
At least 18 years of age
Able to start as soon as possible
Flexibility to coordinate with the following timezones: (GMT +2) and (GMT +8)
Current university student
