In this role, you will support retail teams to include 80 BevMo! Retail Liquor Stores by facilitating a coordinated effort that will ensure physical security measures are implemented and maintained.
Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Loss Prevention is a key member of the Operations team whose primary responsibility is to ensure the security and safety of company assets and inventory. The SMLP works closely with field leadership teams, implementing strategies designed to reduce inventory shrinkage while improving brand image; ultimately increasing overall profitability throughout the organization. The SMLP is a highly engaging, assertive team player well versed in retail and warehouse operations. The SMLP is knowledgeable in many facets of retail operations and accustomed to frequent travel as this position requires.
Responsibilities
- React and respond to critical issues impacting the business.
- Engage and educate field teams on a variety of topics to include operational process and its impact on inventory shrinkage, internal theft, and profitability.
- Align and collaborate with peer groups (Human Resources, Legal, Store Operations, Driver Operations) when addressing field personnel on matters of theft or harassment.
- Conduct operational audits.
- Investigate and address incidents of employee theft and vendor fraud.
- Work with Territory Growth and LP Operations to facilitate vendor initiatives in all new sites.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-years multi-unit loss prevention leadership experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
- Experience with data analytics and the ability to quickly assess and address the needs of the business based on exceptions.
- Degree in Criminal Justice, Business or related field preferred.
- Trained in either Wicklander or Reid Interviewing / Interrogation.
- Will have conducted no less than 100 internal theft investigations and interviews.
- Has worked on the development and implementation of loss prevention strategies at a field or enterprise level.
- Is interpersonally savvy, well spoken, and adept at conflict management.
- Familiar with safety practices in a retail and warehouse environment.
- Ability to travel up to 75% as needed.
$90,000 - $130,000 a year
