Senior Mobile Developer (React Native)
Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior mobile developer (React Native), who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.
Responsibilities
*Design and build mobile apps for the iOS & Android platforms
*Provide architectural leadership to the team and our client
*Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applications
*Mentor fellow developers
*Work closely with UI/UX design, product ownership, backend, and other teams
*Proficient English and communications skills required
*Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
*5+ years of mobile application development experience
*3+ years of React Native app development
*Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning required
*Experience working with remote data via Firebase, REST and JSON
*Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
*Experience publishing multiple iOS and/or Android apps and beta distribution using TestFligh and/or AppCenter
Bonus Skills
*Native experience with iOS/Swift/Objective-C and/or Android/Kotlin/Java
*Backend development experience with .Net/C#, Java/Spring and/or Node.js
*Experience with other hybrid mobile technologies like Flutter and Xamarin
