The Core Job
- Be able to work well with internal teams, including software engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations. Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure that user story content and prioritization are aligned with larger strategic objectives.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Work within a software development methodology like AGILE.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Represent the technical product team in Vietnam and help engineers and QAs understand every single detail of each technical product feature.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
You Must Have
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience with project management software tools such as Jira, Trello...
- Self-motivated, data-driven, responsible, detail-oriented, process-oriented, get things done.
- 2+ years of experience delivering highly successful and innovative internet products with tons of users; including experience in an operational service delivery capacity.
