Gowan Milling is seeking a Production Superintendent to work under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager in our Blytheville, AR facility.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the coordination of production and packaging operations.
- Assist with scheduling production and packaging operation line time
- Direct supervision of Shift Foremen and Unit Supervisors.
- In conjunction with Human Resource Department, ensuring employee development and growth within job tier program.
- Specify and request the purchase of production area equipment.
- Verify and approve production area quality documents.
- A number of other jobs other than what is described in this basic classification.
Qualifications:
- Possess strong verbal and written communications skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Possess strong working knowledge of plant process and packaging equipment and capabilities
- Possess strong working knowledge of all company policy
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally required to descend/ascend stairs.
- Requires frequent walking of the plant area.
- May require bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
