The BSA works with functional owners in various areas such as finance, accounting, operations, customer service, and sales to help them implement sound business processes. BSA Sr. acts as a liaison between the technical team and functional users, gathers business requirements, provides analysis, develops and leads project plans and teams. As a senior level analyst, this position serves as mentor and helps in the development of junior/entry level analyst in all professional competencies and behaviors. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with functional owners to understand business needs and implement applications using the industry best practices. 
    • Carries out project planning, execution and tracking activities; acts as a liaison between technical team and functional owners of the enterprise.
    • Plans and manages medium to large projects initiatives to assure goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed timeframe. 
    • Determines & designs appropriate application solutions based on business requirements and develops detailed design specifications that include appropriate input from developers and process owners.
    • Participate in and contribute to all phases of solutions development including requirements gathering, design, development, configuration, testing and deployment and maintenance. 
    • Works with business area managers in the improvement of business processes and implementation 

Required education, knowledge, skills and abilities:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline
    • Twelve (12) + years of experience working as a business systems analyst using major ERP or large scale applications.
    • Extensive knowledge of Oracle’s JD Edwards ERP solution.
    • Must have strong or good working knowledge in accounting functionalities including AR, AP, GL and fixed assets as well as supply chain, order fulfillment, sales, purchasing, inventory and warehouse management.
    • Well versed with configuration change management in a complex ERP environment
    • Must be able to work well and lead other team members in a collaborative fashion, fostering learning and knowledge sharing to complete projects and equally be able to work solo with little or no supervision
    • Experienced in working with complex global organizations, satisfying needs of diverse users, meeting competing and sometimes conflicting priorities while developing and maintaining business systems standards and structure
    • Occassional travel is required.
