The Opportunity:

As an SEO Outreach Specialist, you will lead our initiatives to enhance clients' online visibility and search engine rankings through innovative link placement, content marketing, and targeted email outreach strategies. This role demands a versatile mix of SEO knowledge, creative thinking, strong publishing industry connections, and proficiency in email marketing techniques. You will be pivotal in devising link placement strategies, crafting personalized email campaigns, building relationships with publishers and journalists, and driving the success of our clients' SEO backlink campaigns with a focus on scalability and engagement.

What you'll do:

    • Design and implement scalable email outreach strategies, including prospect list creation, mass email personalization, and cold email campaigns, to enhance client engagement and lead generation.
    • Develop and refine content customization techniques, ensuring a logical connection between email outreach and relevant articles to increase response rates and engagement.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize email outreach effectiveness, leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign performance and achieve sales targets.
    • Develop strategic link placement initiatives tailored to client needs, brainstorming innovative methods for securing placements and diversifying link types.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and publishers, expanding publication opportunities and options to maximize client visibility and SEO impact.
    • Leverage publishing connections to support clients and optimize the outreach and pitching processes for natural link acquisition, improving the relevance and appeal of content proposals to publishers.
    • Assess and refine clients' existing publishing strategies, incorporating industry best practices to improve outcomes.
    • Craft compelling titles for a variety of long-form content types to engage target audiences effectively.
    • Manage domain lists for clients, ensuring a strategic approach to domain authority and relevance.
    • Curate and oversee the generation of monthly content ideas that align with clients' strategic objectives.
    • Coordinate the publication of articles with publishing partners, ensuring alignment with clients' timelines and goals.
    • Track and report link placement progress, delivering insights and updates through work management platforms (e.g., Monday.com).
    • Provide comprehensive support and communication to Campaign Managers, enhancing campaign coordination and success.
    • Engage in strategic planning sessions with clients, offering solutions-oriented approaches to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products, timely execution, and successful project outcomes.

What does the hiring process entail?

    • Stage 1 (Recruiter Screen) - After you submit your application, our talent recruitment team will review and reach out to candidates. During this 20-minute phone call, we’ll discuss your career journey and professional motivators while learning about GR0 overall and the job opportunity.
    • Stage 2 (Manager Interview) - The first video interview with at least one GR0 team member will involve 30 minutes of diving deeper into the GR0 processes, day to day responsibilities, and ample time for the candidate to ask questions.
    • Stage 3 (Leadership Interview) - Your most important video interview will be a conversation with a GR0 leadership member, including your possible future manager. During this time, you will answer additional questions and have additional time to ask questions of us.
    • Stage 4 (Co-Founders Connect) - The last conversation of the interview process is always a chance for you to connect with our CEO and Co-Founder, Kevin Miller, and our Chief Growth Officer and Co-Founder, Jon Zacharias.
    • Stage 5 (Offer) - If a #GR0mance has brewed, we will make you a competitive offer and hope you’ll accept!

Total annual compensation for this role is market competitive - $80,000 + commission based on link placements/publication opportunities (commensurate with experience), as well as company stock options.
