The Logistics Coordinator position will be based in London, UK. In this role, you will work closely with 3rd party couriers, both domestically and internationally; Customer Service, Study Operations and Supply Chain teams. You are a collaborative and detail oriented teammate and demonstrate a strong track record of success in a cross­-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

    • Monitor domestic and international deliveries 
    • Resolve shipment exceptions (inbound/outbound) of time sensitive shipments 
    • Proactively communicate to various groups status of inbound shipments
    • Develop and distribute relevant metrics to key stakeholders
    • Identify and implement process improvements   
    • Document procedures and work instructions 
    • Support goals and assignments of the supply chain group
    • Other tasks as assigned
    • Monitor box replenishment deliveries into the courier from the manufacturer and deliveries into NHS sites 
    • Monitor and resolve any invoicing queries 
    • Responsible for adhoc logistics for other business needs (e.g stock and clinical trial samples)

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in commercial domestic and international logistics, warehouse, or transportation operation
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company procedures.  
    • Knowledge of logistics processes and customs requirements both UK and US 
    • IATA certified (desirable)
    • Self starter that can work on their own initiative
    • Previous experience with human biological samples shipped at both ambient and frozen (desirable)
