The Database Administrator will play a significant role in the management and maintenance of our databases.  You will be responsible for ensuring that our databases are available and are running smoothly and efficiently.  You will be expected to be able to support our databases that exist both on premise and hosted with various Cloud providers.  You will be expected to tune both the Database and SQL statements to provide optimum database performance for our customers.  The Senior Database Administrator will also be expected to help configure, maintain, and support both Database High Availability and Disaster Recovery.

What your impact will look like here

    • ·        Provide and maintain detailed technical documentation on complete Database Lifecycle Management
    • ·        Assist with implementing, maintaining, and supporting DB High Availability and Diastase Recovery options
    • ·        Experience tuning the database infrastructure to optimize Database performance
    • ·        Maintains on-call responsibilities with responsiveness, technical accuracy and timeliness as required.
    • ·        Work in a cross functional teams’ environment to support our Product Suite.
    • ·        Mentor junior team members
    • ·        Documenting processes and preparing reports
    • ·        Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies

You will love this job if you have

    • 4+ years Database Administration experience
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication skills for working across support and engineering departments
    • ·        Experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban model
    • Ability to evaluate the impact of industry trends on our customer base and our product catalog
    • Experience supporting Databases in a cloud hosting infrastructure (AWS or Microsoft Azure preferred)
