As the Manager of DevOps, you will have the responsibility for DevOps functions and the team that implements them for a group of products. You will be responsible for working closely with engineers and architects to build and automate the deployment of software that fulfills business needs. You are experienced at working in a multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environment.

What your impact will look like here:

    • Manages multiple DevOps system teams setting goals and working towards meeting roadmap objectives.
    • Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Ensures Granicus cloud spend in the products being managed is efficient and responsible.
    • Interacts with DevOps leadership to keep abreast of objectives and roadmap. Transfers knowledge and collaborates across functional lines and/or across departments.
    • Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to interpret information and improve cross-functional processes and programs.
    • Help establish a culture of continuous innovation
    • Mentor, coach and develop employees through on-boarding, open communication, training, development opportunities and performance management processes. At the same time builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
    • Other duties as assigned.

You will love this job if you have:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience
    • Experience managing, coaching, and mentoring remote engineers.
    • 10+ years Software Engineering or Operations support for Agile development teams
    • Effective communication skills for working across multiple teams and departments
    • Strong Experience working with cloud hosting infrastructure in multi cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code
    • Passion for security and identifying opportunities to improve security and testing
    • Experience with development best practices and methodologies, including test driven development, behavior testing, continuous integration, and static analysis
