We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commission Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong interest in numbers, reporting, and process improvement to begin their career in compensation and commissions analysis.
In this role, you’ll support the calculation, analysis, and reporting of sales commissions across the organization. You’ll work closely with Sales, Finance, and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate commission payments and help improve existing processes.
What Your Impact Will Look Like Here
- Accurately maintain and update an incentive compensation management tool as well as assisting in the annual and adhoc configuration of the system.
- Assist in calculating and validating incentive payments for 500+ employees across multiple departments on a monthly basis.
- Establish checks and reconciliations related to SFDC bookings data and incentive calculations.
- Support plan document, creation, and distribution.
- Support audit processes.
- Contribute to design of annual plans and ad hoc spiff programs.
- Support integration and compensation design alignment of acquired company compensation plans.
- Analyze incentives and recommend changes to better align behavior with corporate objectives.
- Build dashboards for individuals, management, and senior leadership to proactively share relevant performance information.
- Support quarterly and annual commission cash and expense forecasts.
- Perform benchmark analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of company compensation plan designs and outcomes.
You will love this job if you have
- BA/BS Finance
- 1+ years experience as commission analyst, or related role.
- Experience implementing sales commission tool.
- Experience as lead administrator of a sales commission tool.
- Ability to autonomously manage projects and processes
- Ability to conscientiously and with integrity apply judgement to scenarios and dispute resolution related to employee compensation.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously deliver high quality output.
- Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills -- ability to solve ambiguous problems with imperfect or incomplete data.
