About the Job
We are looking for a talented electrical engineer who’s passionate about developing and debugging circuits to spark life into awesome, autonomous machines. You are capable of working both independently and with others, and are intrinsically driven to solve challenging applied problems with a rigorous attention to detail and an explorative imagination.
Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of assembled circuit boards to enable our robotic excavators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems.
- Create and maintain documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and testing to evaluate system performance and optimize efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical engineering challenges and provide innovative and practical solutions in a rapid development environment.
- Managing your time to achieve successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field at a Swiss university.
- Expertise in electrical engineering principles, techniques, and technologies.
- Excellent knowledge base in the design of custom electronic systems and experience coordinating engineering changes and general continuous quality improvements .
- Understanding of EMC and EMI best practices.
- Well acquainted with common PCB design software and experience with multi-layered boards.
- Ability to verify and troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.

- Experience with mechatronic hardware systems
- Firmware programming
- ROS/ROS2 knowledge
