As Chief of Staff to the Chief Product & Marketing Officer, you will serve as a strategic advisor and operational leader, driving alignment across Product, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders. You’ll be instrumental in shaping strategic initiatives, optimizing execution, and ensuring alignment with company-wide goals ensuring the long-term success of the company. Your day-to-day:
- Develop and execute the organization’s strategic vision, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and assisting in shaping the long-term technology strategy and roadmap, working closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing teams to align significant initiatives.
- Help lead the yearly and quarterly planning process, driving prioritization and alignment with company goals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination to drive organization-wide operating rhythm ensuring key cadences support efficient decision-making.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering efficiency, innovation, and tech debt management, collaborating with leaders to develop reporting structures.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, talent development, and technology transformation.
- Provide insights and recommendations on organizational improvements, decision-making, and operational efficiencies.
- Facilitate alignment between product management, engineering, design, partnerships, and marketing teams on key initiatives and deliverables.
- Partner or own the agenda and content for critical meetings like monthly product/business review/GTM review sessions with the executive team to surface team/individual performance, own follow-ups and make strategic recommendations.
- Lead the weekly exec meeting with agenda setting, time keeping. Facilitate QBRs and annual planning sessions. Provide ample visibility for all stakeholders and ensure the team is focused and prepared to execute on the highest priority items and doesn't get distracted.
- Aggregate quarter business reviews and synthesize investor updates from competitors.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership or operational role within a technology organization, such as Chief of Staff, Strategy & Operations Lead, Product/Engineering Leader or experience at a top consulting firm.
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to facilitate decision-making and drive organizational alignment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while building trust.
- Experience partnering with organizations such as Product, Engineering, Marketing and Finance is critical.
- Experience building relationships with Executive-level leadership, including a strong ability to operate as a representative and partnerExperience managing budgets, tracking KPIs, and driving operational efficiency within a technology organization.
- Experience working at a Product-focused company and in a larger-scale Engineering organization.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to drive ambiguous initiatives focused on items like global expansion and enhancing cross-collaboration.
- Relevant experience in driving initiatives across a large, diverse Engineering organization, including building out clear strategy and processes for these initiatives.
- Strong ability to manage the prioritization of various projects and identify areas of opportunity for efficiency enhancements.

Our stance on salaries:
Greenlight provides a competitive compensation package with a market-based approach to pay and will vary depending on your location, experience and skill set. The total compensation package for this position will also include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401K match, and more. Greenlight conducts continuous compensation evaluations across departments and geographies to ensure we are keeping our pay current and competitive.
The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $140,000- 175,000
The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $140,000 —160,000
