We're looking for a Business Operations & Analytics Manager to join the Greenlight team. In this role, you'll be an end-to-end problem solver, sitting at the intersection of data analytics and business operations. Your role will be both highly technical and operations focused. You’ll own our operations data, deliver reporting and deep-dive analyses for our operations stakeholders. To do this effectively, you'll need a strong command of SQL, using it to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex datasets from various sources. You’ll then turn those insights into action, representing operations as you lead cross-functional initiatives focused on process improvement, operational performance monitoring, and improving how we serve our customers.
The ideal candidate thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of owning and executing operational initiatives end-to-end. We need someone who is strategic, analytical, structured, and possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute to a collaborative, supportive team environment.
This is an independent contributor role that will report to the Senior Director of Business Operations.
What you will be doing:
- You’ll own all operations data, developing and maintaining key Operations dashboards and KPIs. This will involve partnering with our vendors, CS team, and other cross functional teams to standardize and distribute key operating metrics across the organization. You will collaborate with the Data Analytics team to ensure alignment on data quality standards and best practices, actively participating in weekly functional meetings to support ongoing QA initiatives and operational consistency.
- You’ll make connections between data with the operations, think creatively to find opportunities to improve processes based on those findings, and deliver those findings with solutions to the Ops teams to drive prioritization.
- You’ll own and execute cross-functional initiatives that are critical to company growth and operational efficiency from ideation to completion. This means unearthing data and insights through analysis to design solutions that weigh customer impact with cost and operational complexity. You’ll then work with cross functional teams to implement these solutions.
- You'll apply your strategy and operations expertise to drive significant process improvements and work with the leadership team to establish feedback loops that ensure our efforts are aligned with key organizational priorities and goals.
What you should bring:
- 5+ years of analytical experience working with and across large datasets, delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders and leaders. Financial services experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and advanced skills that allow you to easily extract data from multiple data sources for analysis and visualization.
- 2+ years of Tableau Desktop experience, excellent data visualization skills and familiarity with best-in-class dashboarding techniques.
- Strong self- and project-management, drive, and organization, with a process-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize strategic insights in an actionable and compelling manner.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record of using data to drive business decisions including the ability to structure problems for analysis.
- Established record of driving change through processes that can scale
