The Engineering Team
Operating in sprints, the Engineering team is agile and quickly iterates product design to constantly push the boundaries of possibility. As a developer, you will interact with design, development and maintenance of mobile applications, working remotely to help build the innovative backbone of GreenShield Labs. You will join the collaborative product team including, Product Manager, UX Designer, and Developers operating in the Agile team framework. GreenShield is seeking to revolutionize and transform the digital healthcare system, our goal is to hire individuals who have a shared vision for making an impact.
THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
- Write well-documented, clean and concise code using Javascript, React Native, Typescript, and Styled Components
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality, and meets the technical requirement for the Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Stay up to date with best practices for mobile app development
- Work closely with a cross functional team in an agile development environment
- Work with code versioning tools (Git, ADO)
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1-2 years of mobile development experience (iOS and Android)
- Strong-level knowledge of React Native, JavaScript, Typescript, and Styled Components
- Working knowledge of one or more state management frameworks for React Native (e.g. Redux)
- Knowledge of NPM packages and functionality
- Familiarity with releasing and deploying mobile apps (via the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and MS AppCenter)
- Experience in analyzing, designing, and developing code bases, API design techniques, to improve the overall design and keep them clean and maintainable
