We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node, and PostgreSQL. As a member of our integrations team, you will be responsible for developing back-end services.
THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
- Develop and maintain web applications using TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS) and PostgreSQL
- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas and queries
- Maintain and develop technical documentation
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to identify and prioritize features and functionality
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in the field
- 2+ years of experience in software developmentProficiency with SQL and Typescript
- Proficiency in building applications in Node JS
- Familiarity with Nest JS is a plusFamiliarity with PostgreSQL is a plus
- Familiarity with deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with GCP is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
